Caryn Pushka is a Registered Psychotherapist who uses evidence-based third-wave cognitive behavioural therapy, and positive psychology, incorporating humanistic and mindfulness-based techniques in my work with you. Together, we will examine what is not serving you and work to build your inner strength and achieve your goals.

Originally trained in Applied Behaviour Analysis working within the Traumatic Brain Injury and Complex Trauma Rehabilitation fields, I returned to complete my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, after fulfilling executive roles in health care, law and business management. I am a yoga and fitness enthusiast with a competitive sports background and a married mother of four grown children and two dogs.

My practice is trauma-informed and incorporates a strength-based approach. In accordance with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, my clinical work is supported by consultation from senior Psychotherapists, Psychologists and I am a member of Psychotherapy Matters with consultation from Psychiatry as necessary.

Our mindset can get us through the toughest of times and allow us to truly embrace the joy life brings. Sometimes we need a little guidance to get back on track and strengthen our power from within.
